I just watched 300 and Fly Boys for the second time each. I really enjoyed both movies I think I liked 300 alot better in the theater. But I enjoyed fly boyd alot more the second time but then again I missed it in the theater lol. 300 rocked and I really loved Fly Boys - I thought it was much better than the critics said. And Val... Nemo is awesome - Hold your head up

I just got back from an awesome movie just a few minutes ago. Passage to Zarahemla. That show is so cool. It's got a bit of Watcher in the Woods creepyness mixed with action, love, even religion. It is based on events in the Book of Mormon, but is not preachy. The BoM(as it's frequently called by people in my church) is about half calling to repentance and teaching the good word, but the rest is a history of a people who lived in America from 600 BC to 400 AD or so. They had a lot of wars, and if the good word doesn't get to you, the history will. ;D
Anyway, the movie takes place in and around small town Leeds, Utah. A girl(Sakira) and her brother(Brock) are as good as orphaned and they run away to their aunt and unkles place at Leeds. They have a good bit of property, and the girl used to play in the woods with an 'imaginary' friend, Gidoni. Turns out on the property is a sort of portal between the present and the past. She gets reunited with her friend, who tells her the enemy of his people are planning an attack and could come right through where the relative's house is. And soon, too. At one point, the brother is captured by the Gadianton's (Imagine Indians with leopard skin loinclothes and painted with blood all over), and he leads them through Leeds to find them food. Most residents give them funny looks and go inside, but one old lady sits on her porch and cackles like a funny old witch.
In the end, Sakira's father is reunited with them, and a gangbanger from where Sakira came from is stuck in Gidoni's time. And the Gadiantons are defeated.
If you ever get a chance to see it...DO! Mormonisms aside, it's a great adventure.

I recently watched Ghost in the Shell - The Stand Alone Complex
It's an anime movie... pretty good, more in depth of a story than I thought it would have.

I went to the theater on Friday and saw The Mist. It rocked! The ending really blew my mind. I thought The Mist was better than I'd expected but I hated the ending... how depressing! I saw Hitman and it rocked - Waaaaay better than I thought it would be. We saw I am Legend Sunday night and I was really impressed. Will Smith is definitely "IT" right now... in my opinion there is no better actor at present. I watched O' Brother Where Art Thou again too... a classic!
