Have you read both? which is better? why do you think that?
I personally enjoy the Narnia books better, even though I liked the LOTR movies better.

For some reason I couldn't get into the Naria books. I found the LOTR more enjoyable to read, and felt like I was being draw into the story more.

can't decide. loved the LOR books so much... but my heart has always been toward the younger type books. narnia isn't really a children's book, but it is for the younger reader... and I like that type of writing. plus I love the double meanings in the chronicles.. the Christian meanings. in LOR, I loved the story, the depth of it all, and how much effort tolkien put into everything... I guess if I could only take one with me to a deserted island it would have to be LOR.

LOTR all the way to Mordor and back ;D I've read Narnia and it is a great story...the movie was just as good (in my opinion) and I thought there were just a few flaws here and there. But LOTR...oh my God! I adore the books! They are so great. JRRT had an amazing creativity and he wrote about so many different themes that hit the heart. And the movies? Absolutely breathtaking!
