Codes for different types of proboard tables should be posted in this thread. This is for adding a table into a post...This basic table can be modified to any size or shape and edited with links, pictures etc... using UBBC tags. How to use UBBCPlace the<table> </table> tags at the beginning and end of the table <td> </td> adds a new column <tr> </tr> adds a new row

TEXT TEXT TEXT

TEXT TEXT TEXT

TEXT TEXT TEXT

the above code will look like this TEXT | TEXT | TEXT | TEXT | TEXT | TEXT | TEXT | TEXT | TEXT |

For tables in your proboard's headers and footers you will use HTML. Here are some of the more common HTML tags in tables and how to use them.
To place a link use: <a href="URL">Text to Display</a>
To place an image use: <img src="Image URL" />
for an image as a link, use: <a href="URL"><img src="Image URL" /></a>
for movement use: <marquee direction="down">Content to Move</marquee> add (up, down, left, right) for direction of movement
for a new line or a blank line, just use: <br />
for a scrollbar in a table cell, place this in the 'td' tag: <td width="30%" style="overflow: auto; height: 200px;"> just change the width and height to your needs

Common 3 Column Table
The parts highlighted in green are where you add your content.
<table width="92%" cellpadding="4" cellspacing="1" align="center" class="bordercolor"> <tr> <td class="titlebg" width="100%" colspan="3" height="30" align="center"> <font size=2><b>Table Title</B></font> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="20%" class="windowbg2" vAlign="top"> <font size=2>Contents of Left Box</font> </td> <td width="60%" class="windowbg" vAlign="top"> <font size=2>Contents of Center Box</font> </td> <td width="20%" class="windowbg2" vAlign="top"> <font size=2>Contents of Right Box</font> </td> </tr> </table>

^^ would the above table be like the ones you have on the headers and footers of your main page? If you mean the separate boxes at the top of the main page, no the 3 boxes at the top of the main page are a custom 3 column table I made. If you'd like a copy of that code I will post it below... Just remember that if you are placing pictures or banners in the boxes, try to coordinate their sizes or the table will be distorted. <table width="600" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="25" align="center" class="plain"> <tr> </td> </tr> <tr> <td width="20%" class="windowbg" vAlign="top"> <font size=2> CONTENTS OF LEFT BOX <center> </font> </td> <td width="60%" class="windowbg" vAlign="top"> <font size=2>CONTENTS OF MIDDLE BOX<center> </font> </td> <td width="20%" class="windowbg" vAlign="top"> <font size=2>CONTENTS OF RIGHT BOX <center> </font> </td> </tr> </table>

I like the tables at the bottom best..
also your category splitters -- if you look at my forum, the names of the categories are not encased in bars like yours. How did you do that?

The table at the bottom is basically the same as the first 3 column table in this thread.
The bars on the categories are called gradients. First you have to create a bar that suits your forum. Then you put in the code for gradients (very short code) in categories. I'd be happy to create a gradient for you in photoshop if you tell me what you want it to look like.
