So now Barry Bonds is in big trouble. Can I get a chorus of "Finally" from anyone?
I mean, really. Did anyone really believe him when he denied steroid use? All you have to do is go back and look at pictures of Bonds through the years... As my boyfriend said, "Aren't you supposed to get smaller as you grow older? Not bigger."
And was I the only one laughing when Bonds was treated to syringes being thrown onto the field earlier this year?
Personally, I think he deserves everything he gets. He's wrong on so many levels. Steroids are illegal. He lied to officials. And a souped-up hitter is about to break the record? Please, someone save us baseball - and sports fans in general - from the shame of it.

To me all of MLB has been a joke since the strike. It is marred with a horrible salary cap system (that allows the Yankees to buy more rings) and records falling to cheaters. Their solution is to look the other way when drugs abound so that beefed up roid monsters can put on a show they hope will attract fans. Well it ain't workin' on me - in my opinion they have killed America's pastime... sad but true.
