Okay, guys. I'm in the home stretch so here we go. I'm at 36 weeks and two days, so little Sadie could get here any day. This contest is to guess the day she gets here, her weight, and her length. If two people want to guess the same day, then I'll have you pick times. Otherwise, it's first come first serve on guesses. No two weights or lengths can be the same.  The information to go on: I was 6lbs,6ozs and OldSkool was over 8lbs. At the last ultrasound, the doctor said Sadie's head was measuring at the correct size and that she was right on schedule for her due date, which is May 5th. I am pretty much on schedule as far as mommy weight gain goes. So that's all I have to give you at this point. Scoring will be as follows:
5 reputation points for closest to the length and weight. If you hit in on the head, 7 points.
7 reputation points for closest to the birthdate, 10 if you hit it on the head.If one person hits all three the closest, that person will get 20 reputation points.Happy guessing!!! Oh, and of course, guessing is over when Sadie gets here!!!  PS - I updated the babysite again. |

May 12 for the date, I'll guess 7 lbs, 9 ounces.
Good luck with the remainder of the pregnancy. You're nearly done! Then, the work really begins.
<Edit> forgot to guess the length. How about...18 inches long. ;D

My first inclination was scare the bee-sneezes out of you Hermy by going with 10 lbs 14 ozs. That was my birth weight. Mom is still upset with me.

Yeah, thanks Drago. I guess I'd be upset with you too. But then, I read an article about a woman who gave birth (naturally, not with a C-section) to a 13-pound baby.
However, we saw the doctor Friday and he said that he thinks she will be normal in size. We're getting an ultrasound this Friday to check on her size and her position. So....
(And 4C - so far, it looks like you'll win the length contest - no one else has guessed!!)

Darn. Now I don't win that by default. It just clicked to me that your due date is my wedding anniversary! I was married May 5, 2000! May it be a great day for us both, regardless of when Sadie is born.  |

Thanks, 4C!! I'm sure it will be - mine and OldSkool's anniversary is May 5th (although ours isn't a wedding anniversary - yet). Hope you have a great one!!

Last night, I had a dream I want to put in here, because it is relevant. I won't put everything in that was in the dream, but it was basically you, Hermie, being in the hospital tonight to give birth. I know it's tonight in the dream because I had my appointment I have today and I was in the hospital too with issues with Daisy, and I mentioned in my dream that my supervisor would have to be contacted.
Of course, I'm not saying the part with Daisy will happen, but wouldn't it be interesting if the part in regards to Sadie does? ;D

Still waiting... even the full moon didn't help!!!!
At least I'm not miserable at this point. It's hot out, but I'm still not swelling (unless I'm on my feet for a while) and my back only hurts at the end of the day. My blood pressure is actually getting better as I get further along - Friday it was 120/68. Crazy huh? But I'm pretty lucky, I know. Just ready to meet this little girl!!!!!
