Hahaha, MIB started it! We should have a thread that makes an entire like the images above. Somehow I'm sure it will end up with someone talking about frying bacon naked I was thinking the same thing (not the nekid bacon thing). I shall be off to start said thread

Getting back to topic, I personally lean towards good guys, but the bad ones are cool. Among my favorite bad guys is from a Star Wars novel. Grand Admiral Thrawn. Now that guy can rock! He uses the art of the opponent's civilization and from it, he learns his opponent's weaknesses. Then, he exploits it, and it works! Too bad he wasn't a rebel. I know he isn't from a comic, but this thread does not say "comic book bad guys".

He is in some comics so it counts Thrawn is one of my favorites too, I finally was able to find a figure of him for my collection. I'll have to get a pic of him.

Of course, I also like my own villan, Jerill Durrango, once known as Jonathan Dartanus. If anyone wants to know more about him, you can always do what MIB does and read The Chronicles of Marna Veign in Jabba's Palace.

I'm sure I'm the only big DC fan from you guys so I think I'm going to regret asking this but do any of you know who Sobek is? Hahaha, well let me give you the skinny. He's turned out to be one of my favorite villains, though his purpose and run were short lived for the big DC series called 52. He's a talking crocodile who met Osiris, a slave boy turned superhero (with the help of his sister's husband Black Adam, antithesis of Captain Marvel). Sobek is very polite, well mannered, feeble, and always hungry. He's kind of like Scooby Doo turned R-rated Jaws movie. As you'll see in the link, he convinces Osiris to get rid of his powers to become mortal again and...well you'll see. (MIB, if this link is considered too graphic, please remove). The build up is not too long. Click here!So it turns out Sobek isn't the humbled funny talking crocodile. He's one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. I liked his character as the always hungry, overgrown sidekick but what he turned into (or what he actually was) made me LOVE him. THAT is how you introduce a villain. I know that people can't always think of original ways to introduce a new character, especially a villain, but when they do, my God is it kick butt! This makes Sobek one of my favorite villains.

The link is fine, it has a suitable warning and an age limit so those not wanting to see the graphic nature do not have to go farther... I actually love DC also Val... I just like giving you a hard time . I was thinking of picking up the 52 graphic novels would you recommend it to me even if I'm not caught up on the storylines leading up to it? (I'm not going to look at the ending just yet ). I love good old fashioned unstoppable force kind of bad dudes too... I'm in the middle of reading the Death of Superman saga right now. Doomsday makes a great villan, not too bright but possess that "Hulk Smash" mentallity The battles between him and Supes can't help but be epic!

I would recommend it! It's a great read, very fun (but a few points can be slow) but you don't need to know all the much about prior events because most of it doesn't matter or they mention it already in the comics. But if you want a VERY great DC read, I recommend Identity Crisis. Moving, suspenseful, great art, and an amazing story! How ironic that you mention Doomsday! I happen to love the big stony punk! How can you not like the guy that you can never kill the same way twice? And best of all, guess which character Drago plays over at our DC RP board? ;D

Lol! Drago... Doomsday... figures I actually found a copy of 52 (TPB vol 1) new in a half price sale at a local comic shop yesterday... so I got it for 10 bucks! I've seen the Identity Crisis and have wanted to read it but I've not found a deal just yet.
