Do you have a saying that you coined yourself? Share it with us here in this thread... please tell us what it means also Highlight your quotes in a color that best suits the mood of your quote. I thought of this at work the other day. I guess I was thinking along these lines because the 4th of July is coming up. Also I was feeling sort of chained to work and was wondering about the meaning of freedom. We all are chained to something, our freedom depends on whether or not we hold the reigns.

That's well said MIB, I get what your saying. And I feel chained to work many times too.

That was well thought.
Here are a couple of mine...
“Adventure films and fiction have taught me that in real life plan B doesn’t work either.”
“Computer games have taught me that in real life we don’t have a quicksave option.”

Very true Cp, though it would be nice to have a quick save button.

I'd really like a quick save button and a rewind button, heck sometimes at work evne a fast forward button.

If someone was to invent the forward button, I'd buy three.

No joke! This is our busiest time of year at work. I could really use a forward button. And we could use a mute button too

As much as I love pictures, I still believe in the power of the written word. So I came up with this quote...
He who contends that a picture is worth a 1000 words has not read the right words...

True. What is more, words can give multiple interpretations of the same picture.

"People just need to be is heard. Just listen. The attention and focus will be appreciated." This is so true... I wish more people felt this way. A friend of mine said the other day..."I have two ears and one mouth, so I should listen twice as much as I talk."
