I'm with ya on the 1-18-08 movie. I got into that hype when it first came out but it turned out the puzzle and video stuff was for another movie Across the Universe is just a 60s movie about the war and hippies, all to the soundtrack of Beatles songs! Anything + Beatles = Awesomeness

Any of you Trek fans? The new Star Trek movie seems to be only casting young actors. They're doing that same thing for the Justice League movie which brings me to tears.

Only for about 28 years or so Awsome! You like the new or old series better? I have only watched a little of the old Trek's sadly.... so dont really know much about it.. I flip flop back and forth on it. I saw the original BSG movie as it originally aired on TV. It was the show that got me into sci fi and space. I saw every episode after that faithfully. I went into watching the new show thinking that it would never compare and that I'd hate it. I was right and wrong... it didn't compare but I did love it. The shows are very different and hard to compare. There are times when the new show is waaay better but it's hard to say I like it better. Movies I'm looking forward to...The new Star Trek definitely - I'm not a Trekkie but I do love the movies Beowulf - I can't wait to see this in 3D The Golden Compass - Looks like a far away place to me! The Mist - Looks really cool Hitman - This seems to be well done... we'll see The Spiderwick Chronicles - Can you say Neverendingstoryish? I Am Legend - ... well I am Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem - And yes, I liked the first one National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets - And yes, I liked the first one... lol The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep - Check this out!

I am Legend. First off, I like Will Smith alot! Next, he was awesome in independence day and MIB. Most of all, I love vampire movies.

I just got to see Beowulf in 3D. The movie/story was acceptable but the 3D was spot on. I jumped at least 10 times to move out of the way of spears, dragons, demons, swords, tree limbs and all kinds of stuff. Let me tell you, the days of the blue and red glasses are gone... digital theaters are incredible!
I'm going to see The Mist tomorrow I think, and maybe Hitman if I can sit that long.
Cat, I am Legend looks better every time I see a new TV spot for it. It looks like he has a wife and child. Brings up more possibilities for drama when he's trying to cure everyone.
