I have a niece-in-law named Carola, not far off of Carole. And I know someone who is named JoAn (JoAnne is a more common name of spelling it.) Because of the spelling, there are so many times she gets calls asking for Joan (like Joan of Arc).
And my now 6-year-old Tori either is referred to as she or his name is spelled Tory. At least Daisy is one that will be easy for people to spell right.

At work today, I helped a Carole on the phone. Made me think of you, Hermy.
