Welcome to AFAP
AFAP is a different sort of message board. Our media section "Escapism" is scifi/fantasy themed. We are not limited to fantasy though - there are contests and games; discussions on science, the paranormal, the environment; a place to debate issues and talk about current events and lots more. This is not one of those sites that'll be gone in a month, we are here to stay and we are dedicated to making this the best board on the net.
If you have a collection of your own art - poems, paintings, digital works, photos, anything - we encourage you to share it with us. We have an entire board dedicated to our creations called The Blank Canvas. Contribute enough and you may promoted to our elite Resident Artist status - where your works will be featured with a link on the main forum.
I have a great staff lead by my sister Hermy. We hope to make this site a destination, an escape of sorts, a point where those who long to be swept away from the norm may gather. Talk, debate, play... escape to A Far Away Place
We only have a few rules ( See Rules Section). No one from our staff will flame you or make fun of you. If you've never posted on a message board before that's fine, you can feel at home here.
I have been to plenty of message boards where the administration is very strict and even hateful to members who make posting errors. That WILL not happen here. We may edit a post if it breaks the rules, and we may move a post if its in the wrong section but we will not harass you about it.
